1. What The Cast Thinks The Characters Are Doing Now
And finally, James Corden asked the cast what they think their characters are doing now.
If we believe what the cast say, Ross and Rachel got married and had kids while Ross is still a paleontologist; Monica and Chandler's kids have graduated but she's still an ultra-competitive PTA Mom and Chandler is still a sure joker; Phoebe and Mike have kids and live in Connecticut while Phoebe continues to fly the flag for fellow oddballs at her kids' school; and best of all, Joey opened a sandwich shop in Venice Beach.
While these declarations aren't technically canon, they mostly make enough sense that fans are free to basically accept them as uncontroversial gospel.
Given that both the cast and the creators are adamant there will never be another scripted Friends episode - or, God forbid, a movie - this speculative window in the future is the only "continuation" fans are ever likely to get.
