7. Her Parents Thought Acting Was "The Worst Idea Ever"
Though her parents ultimately were supportive enough of her acting dream to move the entire family to Los Angeles for her to pursue it, they also at one point thought it was "the worst idea ever" according to an interview with Dennings in Interview magazine in 2007. That's unsurprising and rather smart thinking given the absurd level of competition and minimal chance of substantial success, but hey, it all turned out in the end, and they've no doubt benefited significantly from their daughter's financially successful career choices so far (especially those lucrative TV bucks from her show).
