17 Shows To Binge-Watch Before They Return This Fall

8. Brooklyn Nine-Nine

In terms of providing genuine laugh-out-loud moments, Brooklyn Nine-Nine is the best sitcom of the fall season, one of the highlights of Fox€™s Sunday night comedy block that also includes heavyweights such as The Simpsons and Family Guy.

An action comedy show starring Andy Samberg, it wasn€™t much fancied when it was fist announced, but defied expectations and even won a pair of Golden Globes (Best TV Series - Musical or Comedy, and Best Actor for Samberg) when it was just halfway through its debut season.

It falls down slightly when it comes to having an overarching plot, but like the best sitcoms it still has plenty of heart and characters you like, with an excellent cast including Andre Braugher and Terry Crews, but most importantly a variety of hilarious gags. It returns on September 27 for season 3, but you€™ll find yourself flying through the existing 45-episodes in no time.
