17 Shows To Binge-Watch Before They Return This Fall

15. How To Get Away With Murder

There is no escaping the might of Shonda Rhimes on network television. The creator of Grey€™s Anatomy, and its spin-off Private Practice (which ended a couple of years ago), she€™s also involved with Scandal and last year added How To Get Away With Murder to her ever-growing list of projects, like the Chuck Lorre of dramas (more in terms of quantity than quality).

HTGAWM (an acronym that saves no time at all) is a legal drama with strong pedigree, as outside of Rhimes there is creator Peter Nowalk, who did a lot of work on Grey€™s Anatomy, and most notably its star, two-time Oscar nominee Viola Davis.

She plays a law professor who, along with a group of her students, becomes embroiled in a twisted murder plot. Davis is as excellent as you€™d expect, while the are plenty of thrills and moments of suspense to keep you invested through the 15 episode season.
