This delightfully twisted Adult Swim hit, from the mind of creator and star Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon, is one of the most talked about animated comedies ever made, and for good reason.

Incredibly crass, violent, and vulgar, Rick & Morty follows its eponymous grandfather-grandson duo as they race across the universe causing all kinds of often irreparable havoc, which is usually brought on by Rick's deadly god complex or Morty's naïve attempts to save the day.

Fast-paced and dark, the series has its vocal detractors, but its fans are still very much the majority. There are honestly few shows currently airing that can claim to be this whimsical, cynical, and hopeful all at once.
