Luckily, Star Wars: Ahsoka overcomes many of its predecessor's flaws, and despite a shaky start has emerged a resounding instalment for the galaxy far, far away - particularly for fans of the animated Clone Wars and Rebels series who have waited feverishly to see where the show's eponymous Jedi would end up next.

Serving up some entertaining action beats and brilliant callbacks to the films and shows that have led Ahsoka to this latest journey (including a returning Hayden Christensen), Ahsoka sometimes feels a touch too burdened by its fan service, but its highs ensure it's a welcome addition to the franchise's overarching tale.
