Nathan Fillion is treasured by the geek community thanks to his work on Firefly, Destiny, Gravity Falls, and a dozen animated DC films. That's why Fillion-fans were thrilled when Fillion was cast in Rick & Morty.

Well, fans would've been thrilled if they realised he was in the show! In the episode, The Rickshank Rickdemption, Fillion portrays Cornvelious Daniel - a Galactic Federal Agent who invades Rick's mind, hoping to learn how to replicate his interdimensional technology. Even though Cornvelious comes across as a charming, unflappable alien with a hankering for Mulan Szechuan sauce, he's a ruthless bureaucrat who will stop at nothing to get what he wants.

Considering Cornveilois is the main villain in what is often considered Rick & Morty's strongest episode, it's a shame many viewers didn't realise Fillion played the role.
