20 DC Characters Who Could Yet Appear In Arrow And The Flash

5. Rip Hunter

Superman Harley Quinn
BBC/DC Comics

This famed time-traveller is seemingly a certainty to appear at some point in Arrow or The Flash after being announced as part of the upcoming spin-off show, portrayed by Doctor Who’s Arthur Darvill.

Given how this spin-off show will heavily feature some faces already familiar with Arrow and Flash fans – such as Brandon Routh’s Atom, Victor Garber’s Martin Stein, Wentworth Miller’s Captain Cold, Dominic Purcell’s Heat Wave and Caity Lotz’s Sara Lance – there’s plenty of scope for the new characters introduced in that show to spill over to The CW’s other DC-based shows.

Whether he turns up in Starling City or Central City, that’s unsure – but make no doubt about it, Rip Hunter will be making an appearance in at least one of the other other shared universe shows somewhere down the line.
