5. Happy Is An Actual Hells Angel

Sons Of Anarchy is surprisingly accurate with its depictions of how real-life one percenter biker gangs work. That's thanks to a whole heap of research done on behalf of the writers and a couple of technical advisers who will jump in and tell the directors if somebody's had is being stomped on in the correct way. One of those advisers was David Labrava, who you'll probably know better as SAMCRO's premiere enforcer Happy. Yes, Mr Lowman is not only one of the main cast members of Sons Of Anarchy, but he also advises them on the ins and outs of biker gang culture. Because he used to be a Hells Angel. Labrava doesn't like to talk about his association with the Hells Angels outside of the show €“ apparently he's currently an inactive member still in good standing with his club €“ but you can find photos of him online wearing his uniform, and he has the iconic death head tattoo for real.
