Oh, what a jolly jape. The Doctor can run someone over and drive off without checking he's OK! That's behaviour consistent with his character, right? This peculiar hit and run incident occurs during a hovercraft chase sequence in part two of Jon Pertwee's last story, Planet of the Spiders. Fortunately, the sleeping tramp (played by Doctor Who stalwart Stuart Fell), who was so rudely awoken by the Time Lord's careless driving, seems to come through it without injury. Phew.
