20 Most Bizarre Moments In Doctor Who History

3. You Can Trick Your Brother Into Thinking He's An Android Just By Telling Him He Is One

Amongst a fair number of problems with Journey to the Centre of the TARDIS squats the unspeakably implausible joke played by Gregor and Bram Van Baalen on their brother, Tricky. For those who have forgotten this flapdoodle, the salvage ship's brothers convinced their sibling that he was an android, somehow. Even though Tricky was given bionic eyes following his accident, he still feels pain, hunger and every emotion going, so quite how he could think he was anything other than human is incomprehensible. Tricky even recites his €œno fear, no hate, no pain€ mantra, using it as the reason for why Gregor should cut his arm off, whilst grimacing in pain because he's pinned to the wall. This moment is equal parts bizarre and stupid.
