7. The Baseball Bats
Long before Negan hits the scene with his signature bat Lucille in hand, his entrance and the deaths of Glenn and Abraham (Michael Cudlitz) are teased long before they happen.
In mid-season four, Daryl and Beth attempt to save some prison survivors to no avail. As Beth breaks down, the camera zooms out of the scene and a baseball bat is visible amongst the bodies.
In season five, Glenn finds a baseball bat and plays with it whilst he and Rick talk about the death of Beth, giving fans a morbid bit of foreshadowing to his ultimate fate.
A more noticeable reference to his death comes in season six, when the group storm the Savior compound and he founds a wall of pictures showing Negan's many victims.
