24: 15 Stupidest Things We Just Had To Go With

8. The Vampire Kill

One of the main reasons Jack Bauer is a bad-ass is his ability to dispatch terrorists though a variety of ways, whether it€™s as simple as shooting them or getting creative and taking them out with a fire axe. However, there is such a thing as being too talented with your killing. At the beginning of season 6 Jack was taken by Abu Fayed, who agreed to reveal where Hamri Al-Assad - the suspected terrorist leader - was, in exchange for Jack. However during Jack€™s torture session Fayed revealed that he was the true mastermind of these attacks. Determined to tell CTU what€™s really going on, Jack pretends to flatline while Fayed is out of the room. Getting the guard to come up close, he bites down on the man€™s neck and tears out a chunk of his neck. Jack escaped and was able to save Assad from being killed, but that doesn€™t negate the fact that channeling his inner vampire was really disgusting for network TV. Television may be a lot more violent these days, but that sort of gruesomeness belongs on Game of Thrones.
