23. Kim Bauer (Days 1 To 3, 5, 7 And 8)
Love her or loath her, Teri and Jack Bauer's daughter, Kim, is very much part of 24’s rich tapestry. Exasperating is one word to describe this person who got herself into countless troubles - most of it easily avoidable.
A prime example of this is when she gets kidnapped by two of the world’s most incompetent kidnappers in season one, one of whom she develops feelings for. We got so frustrated with Kim that most of us were shouting at the television screens for her to continue running for the cougar roaming hills in season two. Of course this leads to that incredulous scene in which Kim does come face-to-face with a cougar after being snared in a trap. No doubting which parent she inherited her generally annoying traits from.
Fortunately, Kim did inherit her father’s never-say-die attributes when she decides to risk her own life by going through a dangerous stem cell treatment in order to save a dying Jack in season seven. So for saving the life of our favourite hero, she should be accorded a presidential pardon from all her past irksome mishaps.
