7. Fictional West Wing Twitter Accounts Are Still Going... With Vice-President Joe Biden And A White House Press Secretary Even Answering Questions From Some Of The Fake Characters

The West Wing's final series ended in 2006, yet Twitter accounts for some of the main characters from the show began to spring up from 2010 onwards. President Bartlet, Leo McGarry, Josh Lyman, Matt Santos, Mrs Landingham and CJ Cregg's goldfish Gail are just some of those who have Twitter accounts in their names.

Amazingly, so high-profile are these Twitter accounts that Vice-President Joe Biden answered a question from the fake Lyman on high-school reforms in January 2012, while in December 2010 White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs responded to a query from the supposed ghost of Leo about a tax deal.
