Who? Carlton Cuse, Graham Rolland (creators); John Krasinski.

What? Another take on Tom Clancy's CIA analyst Jack Ryan - Krasinski follows in the footsteps of Alec Baldwin, Harrison Ford, Ben Affleck, and Chris Pine - which sees him out of his desk job and into a cat-and-mouse game with a terrorist organisation.

Why? Cuse and Rolland may divide opinion after their work on Lost, but the latter has at least restored some good faith after his work on Bates Motel, and this should provide surer footing. It's another chance for Krasinski to prove his dramatic acting chops while staying in familiar TV territory, and that setting should allow for a deeper dive into both character and story than a 2-hour movie allows, while Amazon's wealth means it won't skimp on the action sequences either.
