Who: Neil Gaiman (writer, showrunner); David Tennant, Michael Sheen, Jon Hamm

What: An adaptation of the book Gaiman co-wrote with the late, great Terry Pratchett. lt'll follow the demon Crowley (Tennant) and the angel Aziraphale (Sheen), who, being accustomed to life on Earth, seek to prevent the coming of the antichrist and with it the final battle between Heaven and Hell.

Why: Pratchett and Gaiman are two modern(ish) greats of the fantasy genre, and while sometimes such collaborations don't work out, theirs absolutely does. The pair challenging each other means the book is joyously creative, uproariously funny, and an absolute blast. With Gaiman in control here, and Pratchett encouraging him to make it before his passing, the TV series should capture that same spirit. The actors couldn't be more perfectly cast either, and Amazon appear to be giving it the attention it deserves.

Where & When: Amazon, TBC
