10. Peter Kay Running Around The Streets Of Cardiff... In A Nappy
You knew this one turn up on the list eventually, didn't you? If anybody had the potential to pull off the look of a green absorbing alien, it was Peter Kay (that's a compliment, by the way!). In his defence, the Abzorbaloff was designed by a 9 year old as the winning entry of a Blue Peter competition, but even that isn't a viable excuse which justifies the sight of this Clom cretin running around the streets of Cardiff in a giant, sagging nappy. This mohawked monster was introduced in Love & Monsters and thankfully he hasn't been seen since. Even Peter himself has cited it as a low point in his otherwise critically lauded career so let's just pretend that it never happened and move on with our lives. "You've dabbled with aliens, now meet the genuine article!" he exclaimed, before being shelved as the worst monster in Doctor Who history. You win some, you lose some.
