Ronan Vibert was born in February 1964 and appeared as Nicholas Skinner in The Last Sontaran, one of the Sarah-Jane Adventures. He also acted with Big Finish in two serials - Jago & Litefoot, and The Perfect Prisoners.

Though he was born in Cambridgeshire, he grew up in Penarth, South Wales. He graduated from RADA in 1985 and moved directly onto the stage, appearing in the Snow Queen, Peer Gynt, and Uncle Vanya, among others. He would also appear in a slew of television shows, where he quickly gained a reputation for playing villainous roles.

Many of his on-screen roles were in period pieces, like Penny Dreadful, Carnival Row, and The Borgias. His role as the mind-controlled Skinner in the Sarah-Jane Adventures was then a bit of a departure.

He spent the last days of his life in Florida. He died on December 22. He was 58 years old.
