You may remember Jesse Ventura turning up on The X-Files in Jose Chung's From Outer Space as a Man in Black, but did you recognize his partner in those scenes? It happens to be none other than Jeopardy host Alex Trebek. The role Trebek played was originally written for Johnny Cash, the original Man in Black, but he was unavailable, so Trebek stepped in, and in the process created his own little bit of trivia. The pairing of Trebek and Ventura actually works quite well in the episode, as both physically and in terms of personality, they're polar opposites. Who knows, maybe some day this appearance will wind up as a question on Jeopardy.
