It feels like a lifetime ago now, but A Series of Unfortunate Events was one of 2017's first hits on TV, and finally did justice to the brilliant series of books.

Adapting the Lemony Snicket books is no easy feat - just ask those who made the 2004 movie - but Netflix made it look that way, with a very faithful depiction starring Neil Patrick Harris and Patrick Warburton.

Season 2 looks set to be even better, as it'll dive deeper into the mystery of VFD and see the Baudelaire children meet and team-up with the Quagmires, all while trying to avoid the varied fancy disguises of Harris' Count Olaf. It'll adapt the next five of the books - The Austere Academy, The Ersatz Elevator, The Vile Village, The Hostile Hospital, and The Carnivorous Carnival - which represent some of the best of the series (Academy and Elevator especially).
