30 WTF Moments From Arrow's Season 4 Premiere

5. Diggle’s Personal Vendetta

Oliver Queen Arrow Season 4
The CW

Having just about saved the day (for now), we get to see some our heroes of the hour discussing Damien Darhk and his ‘hive’ of operatives.

Now H.I.V.E. is a villainous organisation pulled directly from the DC comic book world – initially known as Hierarchy of International Vengeance and Extermination and then post-Flashpoint changed up to Holistic Integration for Viral Equality – and so it will be interesting to see how the organisation is depicted going forward in the show.

What we do know is that, as mentioned in previous seasons and highlighted again here, it was H.I.V.E. who ordered Deadshot to kill Diggle’s brother. Whilst we get to see Digg piece the puzzle together here, he doesn’t actually share his knowledge with any of his cohorts.

Could we see Diggle attempt to go it alone in the future in his quest to get some semblance of revenge for his brother’s death?
