32 WTF Moments From Marvel's Jessica Jones

3. Fight!

As Jessica learns that Kilgrave has his sights on Luke Cage, she arrives at Cage€™s bar just in time to see it explode. Given how Power Man has impenetrable skin, this was no problem for him as he€™d survive the blast. The scene itself was explosive (cheap pun, I know), but what was most WTF was how Cage€™s clothes managed to make it through the fire with just a few rips here and there. Following this, it would eventually be revealed that Kilgrave had been controlling Cage all along and so he sets the Hero for Hire on to Jessica. It made for great viewing, getting to see these superpowered heroes do battle, and the sight of Cage smashing away on Jessica as she struggled to use a police car door as a shield was a memorable one. Oh, and the conclusion of this fight was also pretty badass too, with Jones unloading a shotgun in Luke€™s face.

2. Conveniently Timed

Rosario Dawson€™s Claire Temple was a key player during Marvel€™s Daredevil series, and she just so happens to turn up in Jessica Jones when her help is most needed. So with Luke Cage in a bad way, it was just a tad convenient that the one nurse likely to give some leeway to superheroes was magically working on the exact ward and bed that Cage was put in. Far too convenient, in fact. Either way, Temple€™s presence was an enjoyable one, and she seemed to strike up an instant bond with Jessica Jones once they got passed the sassy attitudes and chips on shoulders. Then again, Claire€™s arrival also saw her stick a needle through Cage€™s eyeball, which was a total gross-out moment.
