6 Awesome TV Actors Who Failed On The Big Screen

3. Michael C. Hall

Awesome In: Dexter, Six Feet Under "Best" Movie: Gamer Cinematic Filmography Includes: Peep World, Paycheck, The Trouble with Bliss Unlike a few of the other actors on this list, I can't stand any of Hall's movies. They're unfunny comedy properties or generic, lacking action romps. And it's not people don't know who this fella is. He crafted one of the finest characters in television history in Alan Ball's Six Feet Under, then he made us root for his serial killer persona in Dexter...so why are people trying to throw him such shallow work? Hall can easily do comedy (SFU) and has some action chops (Dexter), so like Fox, I'm wondering why no one has been able to capitalize on throwing him a project with some gravity. Although, maybe he just falls into the same problem Harris does and can't find time to do a great movie.

Cameron Carpenter is an aspiring screenwriter, current film and journalism student, and self-diagnosed cinephile, which only sounds bad in certain circles. Devoted fan of comics, movies, theater, Jesus Christ, Sidney Lumet, and Peter O'Toole, he sometimes spends too much time on his Scribd and comicbookmovie.com, but doesn't think you're one to judge, devoted reader. You can follow him on Twitter to watch him talk to people you didn't know exist. Oh, and Daredevil is quite the big deal around here (my head).
