The Scarlet Witch's greatest and most well-known love affair is easily her relationship with The Vision. After the pair were married in the pages of Giant-Size Avengers #4, they took a break from the team to star in two limited series, in 1982 and 1985.

The 1982 series, later dubbed Volume One, explores the pair's lives as a married couple, as well as diving into some of Wanda Maximoff's complicated family history.

In one issue, Wanda and Vision must help aging superhero The Whizzer, who believes himself to be Wanda's Father. Wanda knows that she is not The Whizzer's daughter, and that her true Father is most likely Magneto, but agrees to help anyway, unwilling to break his heart. In 1985's Volume 2, Wanda and Vision decide to start a family. They move to the suburbs after Wanda falls pregnant, but find themselves dealing with some very unwelcoming neighbours.

WandaVision appears to take most of its inspiration from that second volume, with the trailer showing Wanda and Vision enduring a dinner with an unpleasant neighbour. However, it is also possible that the show's Halloween episode has been adapted from the first volume, which included a Halloween themed issue.
