6 Ups & 3 Downs From The Arrowverse In 2018 (So Far)
4. Interesting Stories To Explore Next Season
While some of the Arrowverse's offerings this year were far from perfect, it's hard to deny that they all left us with some highly intriguing possibilities for next season. With Oliver Queen's identity as the Green Arrow outed and a life behind bars awaiting him, Arrow's seventh season will look a lot different from what we're used to. Furthermore, with Laurel looking to avenge Quentin's death, things are bound to get personal.
The same could be said for The Flash next season. The show left us with the revelation that Mystery Girl is none other than Nora West-Allen, the daughter of Barry and Iris. But as she didn't seem too fond of her own mother, we couldn't help but wonder what happened between the pair in her own time and why Nora has turned up in the present. The Flash never fails when family is at its heart, so we're excited to see how this new family dynamic will play into Season 5.
Supergirl's finale saw the departures of Mon-El and Winn. But it wasn't all bad because we got Brainiac 5 as a permanent addition to the DEO. But with J'onn stepping down as Director and Alex taking over, it's safe to say that there will be a lot of changes for Kara and her team going forward. The finale also teased us with the arrival of another Kara, who showed up in Siberia (a nod to DC's Superman: Red Son comic).
But while all these shows deal with change, Legends of Tomorrow looks set to continue doing what it does best: being as off-the-wall as ever. The Season 3 finale revealed that dragons and monsters will be making their debut in the Arrowverse next season. With the permanent additions of John Constantine and Ava Sharpe to the team and an array of the unknown awaiting them, the Legends could be in for their most unforgettable adventure yet. And with that, the Arrowverse could produce one of its strongest years when the shows return next season.
