3. Third Doctor Spearhead from Space (Amazon Prime, Netflix)
After four years of the Second Doctor, it was time to move on. The series not only changed Doctors, but also changed direction almost completely. It went to color and stranded the Doctor on Earth, where he was forced to work with UNIT and became something more of an action hero. This is a great introduction to that era and to the Doctor, which is fitting, since its the first Third Doctor story. You get to see the Brigadier, Liz Shaw and the rest of the UNIT family, and for those of you who are familiar with the Autons only from the new series, this is a great chance to see what they were like in their very first outing!
