7 Best Old-School Doctor Who Stories To Stream

4. Fourth Doctor €“ €œThe Talons of Weng-Chiang€ (Amazon Prime)

Well, this is an all-around classic story that really holds up fantastically well. It€™s got the Fourth Doctor at his manic best, wandering around the streets of Victorian London dressed as Sherlock Holmes while Leela basically turns into Eliza Doolittle. It also introduces fan-favorites Henry Gordon Jago and George Litefoot. Even better still, the story features great sets and unusually high production values for the time. It shows what the production crew were capable of when they really tried, and what they could do when actually given some money to work with. Do note that this one is also available only on Amazon. If you have Netflix, €œThe City of Death€ is an excellent second-choice.
