It was a complete break from the regular format as this faux-documentary showcased the rise and fall of Bayside's hit band, Zack Attack.
As revealed in the final moments of this show, Zack Morris had fallen asleep before band practice and dreamed up the whole affair, including this wonderful live music video of the group's big hit, "Friends Forever." Famous radio DJ Casey Kasem even appeared on this cheesey pop rock episode.
This was actually the second appearance of Zack Attack. In an earlier episode Jessie Spano is featured as a singer but is notably absent on this go around. Her unexplained absence was due to actress Elizabeth Berkley suffering a broken leg immediately before filming.
