7 Upcoming New CW Shows To Be Excited About
3. The 4400
It isn't just decades-old supernatural properties that The CW is interested in reviving, as the-powers-that-be at the network also plan to bring us their own iteration of The 4400.
Debuting back in 2004 (okay so maybe it's over one decade old but you get the point), the show aired on the USA Network and told the story of how 4400 people - all of whom had mysteriously vanished at one point or another between then and 1946 - suddenly just appeared in a ball of light with no recollection of how they got there or what happened in the years since their disappearance.
As cool as the concept was, the show was one of the many casualties of the 2007 Writers Guild Of America Strike as it was cancelled before the shocking cliffhanger of the fourth season was resolved.
Though we may never get to find out how USA's interpretation ended, we will get to see this compelling story retold for a new generation. And given how well The CW deals with science fiction tales, it's safe to say that fans of the original should be excited for this one!
