8 Best TV Shows You Can Now Binge On Disney+ (That You Probably Haven't Seen)
4. Terriers
Not every television show available on Disney+ was a success story. It doesn't mean they're not good, it's just some never got a good shake of the proverbial stick. A show could be lavished with praise but if the viewing numbers aren't up to snuff then cancellation can swiftly follow. A case in point is Terriers, a one-series wonder now available to watch in its entirety on the streaming service.
Terriers is a comedy-drama that features television veteran Donal Logue (Gotham) as Hank Dolworth, a washed-up ex-cop working as an unlicensed P.I. alongside his ex-con best friend in a small Californian town. The show somehow suffered from low ratings despite getting plenty of praise and featuring in many critics' top 10 films of the year in 2010.
Even though it only achieved one season, Terriers has some heavyweight talent behind the scenes. Creator Ted Griffin wrote the screenplays to Ocean's Eleven and Matchstick Men, and some of the episodes were directed by none other than Craig Brewer (Hustle & Flow) and Rian Johnson (Looper). So do yourself a favour, and get involved with his funny crime drama.
