8 Fears When Watching Classic Doctor Who With Your Partner

A very serious potential reaction is one of disappointment. To have your partner feeling underwhelmed with Genesis of the Daleks or The War Games or An Unearthly Child is a saddening thought indeed.

It's easy to understand that, compared to the modern day production values of Hollywood blockbusters, American TV series and even the flashy effects of NuWho, the BBC of the 60s and 70s just can't compare. Naturally, fans expect their boyfriends and girlfriends to take the aged appearance of the show with a pinch of salt and give credit where credit is due, but sometimes that just isn't the case.
