8 Greatest TV Battles That Ever Hit The Screen

3. Community – A Fistful Of Paintballs

When it comes to Community and paintball, there's a fairly decent amount of choice. After the season one episode Modern Warfare, which introduced paintball as a concept, it became a recurring staple throughout the show's run. But never was it as fun, frantic and entertaining as during the two-part close to season two.

Titled A Fistful Of Paintballs and For A Few Paintballs More respectively, this two-parter proves that televisual battle sequences don't have to be super serious and gritty to be engaging and weighty. Sure, the premise of the whole thing is that a rival school is attempting to sabotage Greendale Community College, but it's a testament to the smart writing and brilliant characters that the show actually gets you to care.

On top of that, the episodes are filled with parody and homage to other genres and films, from Clint Eastwood's Westerns to Star Wars and beyond. But the paintball battle that closes off season two is so entertaining that it also exists in a vacuum: even a stranger to the show would find it incredibly enjoyable.
