8 Reasons Now Is The Perfect Time To Revive Twin Peaks
7. Kyle Maclachlan Would Love To Play Dale Cooper Again
There's a lot of love for Twin Peaks from the cast and series lead Kyle Maclachlan is never shy of discussing what made the show so good and hinting at his interest in playing the role again. Just last year he was all too happy to chat about his role in the show at the Seattle International Film Festival, where he won an Outstanding Achievement in Acting Award. Back in 2010, he referred to Dale Cooper as the role of a lifetime."That perhaps is my most favourite character I've ever done. Creatively, I think there've been very few things that have even come close to touching 'Twin Peaks." There have been hints of new footage being filmed, discussions by the creators and cast (Maclachlan included) suggesting that Twin Peaks could return and with every soundbite, fans gets excited at the possibility of returning to this little town in Northwestern USA.
