8 TV Shows That Are Going To Get Cancelled In 2016

1. CSI: Cyber

Not even Ted Danson could save this failing offshoot from the CSI franchise. Despite the fact that CSI is commonly extremely popular with an older demographic (essentially people who think that computer hacking is just typing really, really quickly), CBS attempted to market a more modern take on crime.

CSI: Cyber follows an elite team of FBI agents who investigate cyber crimes, enabling the show to enter such relatable territory as cyber theft, sexual harassment online and online blackmail (things all the rage with teens these days). After a weak first season, Ted Danson was brought on in a desperate attempt to appeal to the older audience the show had initially wanted to distance itself from.

The low ratings continued, however, up to the season finale, which aired in March 2016. After that, Danson revealed that he was leaving the show. With neither younger people interested nor the show's typical demographic, it's only a matter of time before its bye bye CSI: Cyber.
