10 Returning Comic-Book TV Shows (And When You Can See Them)
2. Marvel's Agent Carter
Where We Left Off: Agent Peggy Carter succeeded in clearing Howard Stark's name, though she still isn't going to get the credit she deserves from a government that's sexist at every level. Despite this, she was relatively happy with her life and achievements as Season 1 came to a close, and somewhat made peace with the apparent death of Steve Rogers, the love of her life.
Where We're Going: Season 2, set in Los Angeles rather than New York, will feature a late-1940s version of the comics' Madame Masque, and run for 10 episodes instead of Season 1's eight. Despite the change in setting, familiar characters Agents Thompson and Sousa, Angie Martinelli, Dottie Underwood and Edwin Jarvis will be returning.
Latest News: Filming has just begun on the season, and there'll definitely be some romance, though whether Sousa's puppy-dog eyes finally win Carter over or someone else sweeps her off her feet is hard to say.
Tomatometer Score: 97. Confident and stylish, focused and fun, Marvel's Agent Carter never loses the feeling that it's about something, and Hayley Atwell's performance as the title character is a joy to behold.
Returning: January 2016.
