10 Returning Comic-Book TV Shows (And When You Can See Them)

1. Marvel's Daredevil

Daredevil Murdoch
Marvel Studios/Netflix

Where We Left Off: Through a combination of lawyering, fisticuffs and sheer stubbornness - generally his three best qualities - Matt Murdock, AKA Daredevil, finally defeated and incarcerated Wilson Fisk, the Kingpin. The law firm of Nelson and Murdock survived Foggy discovering Matt's secret identity and powers, but their assistant Karen Page still doesn't know - or does she?

Where We're Going: We know two things about Season 2: it at least teases a romance between Karen and Matt (he's an emotional wreck leading a violent double life and she makes really bad decisions... they're perfect together!) and a conflict with the Punisher, a crimefighter whose violent means are impossible for Matt to condone.

Latest News: The new series will feature one (not two) new costumes, Matt's other longest-running love Elektra and other ties to Marvel's larger storytelling universe.

Tomatometer Score: 98. Daredevil may have spoiled audiences for other Netflix comics adaptations, consistently finding the best parts of the series' 50-odd year run and adjusting them just slightly into a contemporary setting.

Returning: Unspecified date, 2016.
