9 Famous TV Villains You Didn't Realise Were Complete Morons

4. Gordon Ramsay (Hell's Kitchen)

I am guessing that Gordon Ramsay is not a complete a-hole in real life but he does play a pretty convincing one on TV. Ramsay takes 24 questionable cooks, divides them into teams and the team that can get out all the orders wins. That's not where it ends. Ramsay is right there in the middle of things, screaming, flinging curses, plates and half-assed food. I'm not exactly crying for the chefs that are at the other end of this abuse, because I don't want to eat half-cooked chicken. But here's the thing: when you have caught the screw up and you have berated them on national television, leave them alone so they can get the order right and the customer can walk away without a stomach ache. Why the heck are you pulling them off their stations while they're still cooking food (now burning it), asking timing questions, making them respond, "yes, chef"? This is not making the food any better, and sure as hell not getting it to the customers faster. I realise he's supposed to be the villain and isn't there to make their job easier, but this is food you're serving to others. I hope that when the guests leave, they are given complimentary Pepto Bismal €“ they're going to need it!
