9 Game Of Thrones Characters Who Deserve To Die

8. Jorah Mormont

Season four saw Jorah finally (!) escape the friendzone. Yay. But where did he end up? In the scrapheap. Jorah loves Dany. He probably carves €˜Jorah and Dany 4eva€™ into trees and writes epic love poems beneath a blanket of stars on the moonlit deserts surrounding Meereen. Okay, maybe not. But his love was his undoing. Like Bill Compton in HBO€™s recently departed €˜True Blood€™, Jorah was sent to his beloved under conspicuous circumstances and only really fell in love after meeting the person he was meant to spy on. Rather than kill him, Dany exiled him from Meereen. Because that€™s not going to come back and bite her on the ass. So why does Jorah deserve to meet the pointy end? Simply because his story has ended. Yes, he€™ll return next season when a certain someone ventures to Essos and their paths cross, but is it really necessary? No. Jorah does next to nothing in €˜A Dance with Dragons€™ other than stand around looking imposing and trying to win back his loves heart, but it€™s all to no avail. It€™s about time Jorah realised it isn€™t going to happen with Dany. She€™s what, 20 years his junior, and she could have her pick of the blokes of Westeros. There€™s better people out there Dany, ones who won€™t stab you in the back or lie to you. So how do we envisage Jorah dying? Perhaps Drogon can burn him, or Dany could crucify him like the others that have annoyed her on her tiresome travels. Either way, it has to come at Dany€™s hands. Or Dany€™s bidding, at the very least.
