Now Bran isnt entirely boring. But hes not riveting to watch either. His season four story finally began to pick up somewhat, but its a case of too little too late. For three seasons we had to sit through him being damn right boring and the writers think that because they threw in a near-reunion between him and Jon (which doesnt happen in the books, we must stress!) that the viewers will come to like him. No chance. We didnt like him when Jaime threw him from the turret window, and nor do we like him now that hes about to fly. We like the story, but not the character. Bran, like Ramsay before him, has little redeeming qualities. But unlike Ramsay, there are some. His story looks set to become interesting next year, but considering the sixth novel hasnt been released yet where can they really take his character? Bran needs to die and give Hodor his chance to shine. Everybody loves Hodor. Correction: everybody loves badass Hodor. You know, Hodor when he isnt Hodor. Hodor when Bran has warged into him. So how should Bran die? We would like to see Bran warg into Hodor, his human body to somehow die, and for him to have to live forevermore trapped in the mind of Hodor. Thus two problems are solved in one: Bran is dead, and Hodor becomes badass all of the time.
