9 Game Of Thrones Characters Who Deserve To Die

5. Jaime Lannister

Jaime has gone on quite a journey through the four seasons thus far. Like Prince Charming from Shrek (seriously, how much does Jaime look like that cartoon prince?) Jaime is a poster boy for all that is wrong in the world. Or rather, all that is wrong in Westeros. Once Jamie was loathed, then he was loved, and now his he balancing precariously somewhere in the middle. Where did it all go wrong for him? Well, Jaime raped Cersei. Yes, Jaime went and raped his sister. You can deny is as much as you want but it€™s clear as day that Cersei didn€™t give her consent during their sexual encounter next to the body of their dead son. Yes you read that right. What a twisted character. As a side note, everybody seems to forget that in his very first episode Jaime attempted to kill a child. Yes, this would have saved us having to sit through three seasons of Bran€™s dreary plot, but he still tried to murder a defenceless child. That, of course, was brushed under the carpet, because you know, Jaime is attractive and everything. Fan opinion of Jaime only really began to shift once he was paired with Brienne and lost a hand, so maybe that€™s the way forward for Jaime next season. Have him set off to reunite with Brienne and lose another appendage on the way. Maybe his head, this time. Just saying. Can Jaime be redeemed? Some still stubbornly say yes. But rape is a big no-no, even in the world of Game of Thrones. Even though Jaime went against Cersei and helped everybody€™s favourite Tyrion escape his incarceration, Jaime cannot be redeemed. No matter what he does now, the shadow of his deception will forevermore hang over him.
