Had you asked six months ago, you'd have been hard pressed to find anyone who thought that The Walking Dead would ever be topped in terms of gore. However, after watching the reanimated corpse of a book store clerk pop up with glass shards protruding from his face, several beheadings, and an impalement on a trophy buck, well - it appears there's a new contender in town. And thanks to the fact that Ash vs. Evil Dead is so over-the-top, the gore is a heck of a lot more, well, projectile - which adds to the fun. Blood that spurts and sprays is something you just don't see on The Walking Dead since, after all, it's hard to get arterial spray from a body that's already dead.
