Based on the series of films by the same name created by Stephen King and George A. Romero, Creepshow season 1 hit the horror streaming service Shudder last month.

Although not actually based on King novels per se, each story in this anthology series is clearly heavily inspired by him. However, that's not to say that some King stories are not adapted. King's story Grey Matter is the first story in episode one.

The first season is currently one of the best Shudder Originals available, and with it's popularity came a quick renewal, with season 2 being announced shortly before the last episode aired. Pre production has begun and the show is expected to return in late 2020.
