9 Things You Learn Rewatching Game Of Thrones Season 8
4. Bran the Broken makes sense
Here's where things get interesting. You can be as angry as you want for Bran Stark being chosen to be King of the Six/Seven Kingdoms, but there's no denying that the choice does make sense when all the facts are laid out.
Bran has the memory of the world at his grasp. He can look back at the poor decisions of the Kings of old and ensure that their mistakes don't influence the future. He's got eyes everywhere so if any discussions of rebellion or treason take place, he'll be the first to know. He also has the correct last name: Stark, a name known throughout the kingdoms for its honour and integrity.
And honestly, what other viable candidates were there? Sansa thinks only of the Northern kingdom and its independence, Tyrion immediately shut down his possibility of ruling, Daenerys, had she survived, would have had rebellions following her everywhere and/or no subjects left to rule.
And Jon?
He would have been hated as both "Usurper" and "Queen Slayer", his life would have been a misery, as well as knowing he took the throne murdering the auntie he loved.
