9 TV Shows That Blew You Away With Just One Season

8. Clone High

MTV

When it comes to animated television, few shows reach the pinnacle of awesome that Phil Lord and Christopher Miller's (yes, the dudes responsible for 21 Jump Street and The Lego Movie) Clone High did, which included among its illustrious cast of characters Abraham Lincoln, Joan Of Arc, JFK and Cleopatra.

As the title suggests, the show centres on a high school that is actually a military experiment, populated by clones of influential and prominent figures from history. The thing that made the Clone High stand out so much was its cutting parody of standard teenage dramas. The use of iconic figures only served to highlight its brilliant exaggerative tendencies.

Not only was the premise of the series great, but it also featured a huge range of fantastic guest stars, including Marilyn Manson, John C. McGinley, John Stamos and Zach Braff (who appears in the same episode as Sarah Chalke and Donald Faison). Sadly for fans the show attracted controversy for its depiction of Gandhi and suffered low ratings, leading MTV to cancel it.
