Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D: 6 Ups And 4 Downs From Season 2
6. New Characters - Up
There were a number of new additions to the cast this season, and pretty much all of them felt like well-rounded characters who fit straight in to the world the show has created. Among the additions to the S.H.I.E.L.D team were Bobbi/Mockingbird, Hunter, and Mack, and all three - in particular Bobbi and Hunter, and their relationship - added something to the show and became key members of the team. There was also the inclusion of Daniel Whitehall, the modern-day identity of the ageless Hydra agent Dr Werner Reinhardt, and he served as an excellent antagonist for the first half of the season. Ultimately the show did a great job of expanding its cast without having it feel too bloated, and for the most part managed to juggle the various characters pretty well.
NCTJ-qualified journalist. Most definitely not a racing driver. Drink too much tea; eat too much peanut butter; watch too much TV. Sadly only the latter paying off so far.
A mix of wise-old man in a young man's body with a child-like wonder about him and a great otherworldly sensibility.
