Agents Of SHIELD: 8 Theories On Skye's Parents' Identity

7. Dracula

When there€™s a Marvel villain covered in blood, you have to start thinking vampires. But including the creatures of the night in Agents of Shield would cause inevitable issues for the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, because once you throw them into the mix, you can€™t ever take the Vamps back out again. Plus, if you have them running around the place then you really need Blade at some point. But forgetting all of that for a moment and just concentrating on Dracula, what would that signify for Skye? It could mean that she might be Lilith Drake but the origins don€™t really line up, nor do the powers. Plus you have the whole daywalker issue and the total lack of blood-drinking. It doesn't explain her lack of reaction to GH-325 or why two gut shots would ever endanger her life. In short, Skye isn't a vampire which pretty much eliminates Dracula from the list of her possible fathers. Plus keeping the blood suckers out of Agents of SHIELD is a good thing both for the short and long term for the entire cinematic universe.
