American Horror Story: 10 Ways The Different Seasons Can Be Connected

2. It€™s Reincarnation, Baby

Fans have toyed with the theory of reincarnation existing in the American Horror Story universe. Some have suggested that Tate could be reincarnated Kit Walker, or Maggie Esmerelda might be Madison Montgomery. This theory is interesting when one considers that Maggie pretended to be a psychic, so maybe she was reincarnated as one. Kit Walker was accused of murder (and did kill a mutant), but gets reincarnated as a school shooter, perhaps because he carries anger with him? Another interesting connection exists with the Axeman, brilliantly played by Danny Huston, in Season 3. Huston later played Massimo Dolcefino, prosthetic maker and Italian lover of Elsa Mars, in Season 4. Most of the real Axeman€™s victims in New Orleans were Italian. So, was the Axeman reincarnated as an Italian man to serve penance for his crimes? Of course, this theory doesn€™t hold water when it comes to Jessica Lange€™s characters. She€™s dead at the end of every season, except for Murder House, and the timelines for it just don't add up; Elsa wasn€™t dead until 1962, Sister Jude dies in the 1960s or early 1970s, and Fiona was just a child when Constance was. The separated at birth theory has show up on a few sites, and if you can buy reincarnation there's no reason it couldn't be true.
