Played with terrifying charisma by a never-better Evan Peters, Kai Anderson remains one of AHS's most menacing and complex baddies. A cult leader with an unrivalled knack for manipulation and greed, his only mission was to spread his chaotic vision around the world and coerce those around him to do his bidding.
Centering a season around the election of Donald Trump and the rise of populist personalities in politics was a very risky move - even for AHS - but it was thanks to Kai and his wickedly horrifying monologues, disturbing pinky swears and troubling prejudices that it was all able to come together so well.
