Arrow: 10 Characters Who Should Join Season 5

1. Prometheus

Arrow Nightwing
DC Comics

Where the comic book Prometheus is concerned, he’s basically got a grudge against anybody who is any sort of hero. Whilst he’s often been positioned as a Batman villain, he’s also never shied away from tackling any of the Justice League when the chance has arisen.

There’s actually been more than one Prometheus over the decades, but the second Prometheus is usually seen as by comic book fans as being the Prometheus. His backstory is a tragic one, with his criminal parents brutally killed in front of his eyes by a police officer. From that day on, Prometheus, whose identity isn’t ever revealed, dedicated his life to becoming the ultimate physical and mental specimen.

As well as being at the top of his game physically and mentally, this rogue also has plenty of advanced technology at his disposal, including a helmet that can actually mimic any fighter and so makes him near-enough unstoppable to most. Added to this, as the years have gone on, this villain’s mind has constantly deteriorated, making him more and more unstable and unpredictable. Making things personal in the world of the Master Bowman, the comic book Prometheus even went as far as to cut off the arm of Roy Harper with a poisoned blade.

If done correctly, Prometheus would make a great multi-episode or even season-long opponent for the Green Arrow, with his peak fitness, endurance, and fighting techniques proving a stiff challenge for the Emerald Archer. As for the fancy tech that Prometheus uses, that would similarly prove a nice challenge for Felicity to tackle.
